What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website, when visited, places on the user’s computer or mobile device, through the internet browser. Placing cookies will help the website to recognize your device on a subsequent visit. We may use session cookies (which expire when you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which remain on your computer or mobile device until you delete them) to provide a more personal and interactive experience on the Website and the Blip Platform.

We use the term “cookies” in this policy to refer to all files that collect information in this way.

Use of Cookies

Blip implements cookies that can be classified according to their duration or need.

They can be used to evaluate performance metrics, allow the website to function correctly and make it more secure, provide a better user experience, understand how the website works and where it needs to be improved, and collect information about user behavior.

On our website, we use the following cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies. These are essential for the functioning of our website, to ensure its security and proper performance, without which it would not function correctly.
  • Preference cookies. These store information about your preferences, such as your language and region, allowing for a better browsing experience on the website.
  • Analytic cookies. These collect information about your behavior while browsing our website, such as the pages that are accessed, the time of visit, the pages that are rarely accessed, in order to allow us to improve the quality of the website.

The Blip Platform uses cookies to store data for the following purposes:

  • Authentication: When accessing the Blip Platform portal and authenticating using a username and password, IDs are created randomly for all users and linked to each account. This way, we avoid having to request login on subsequent pages;
  • Recording user preferences, such as language, so that they are applied at all times when accessing the portal;
  • For the correct functioning of the Blip Platform;
  • Cookies provide anonymous information that is used to compose Take’s Research and Statistics analysis. One example is the use of Google Analytics, which helps us understand user interaction with our platform, in order to find opportunities to improve the services;
  • The user will have the ID linked at the time of the first access. This ID is a unique code, generated randomly, and will be linked again to the user each time he or she returns to the page accessed. In this case, cookies facilitate the counting of visitors to the website, checking whether the user has visited the page before, and thus allowing the creation of reports for website analysis.
